Lighthouse History

a steel skeleton frame and was painted red and white horizontal stripes.
Three white, two red. When the new Cape Fear Lighthouse was established,
the old Cape Fear Station was changed from a fourth order flashing light,
with intervals of thirty seconds, to a fixed, fourth order light, and its
name was changed to Bald Head Light Station.
